Acidity

Acidity is now became a common disease due to our food habit and stressful life style. Due to heavy stress or improper food habit, like consumption of junk food, heavy and fried food, spicy food, and stressful work is triggering Acidity.

Alziemer's Disease

People affected with Alzheimer's, experience difficulties in communicating learning thinking, and resoning. These problems are so severe that they could affect individuals work, social activities and family life. Inside the brain are hundreds of billions of nerve cells connected by trillions of fibers called axons and dendrites. The activity between them controls by thoughts, feelings, drives, aspiration, and personality.

Arthritis

Arthritis is the most common ailments for which Ayurvedic help is being sought these days. According to ayurveda, mostly pain is caused by aggravation of vata. Ama is the toxic bi-product of improper digestion. Ama circulates in the whole body and deposits in the joints, at the same time there is aggravation of vata, it results in the disease called amavata. Amavata is known as arthritis.

Asthma

In today's life, there is increase in incidences of asthma. Stressful life, rapid industrialization, excessive crowding, increasing pollution are some of the factors responsible for such increase. It has been stated that 15% of the Indian population suffer from asthma. In developed countries like USA, every year there is 10% increase in asthmatic patient. In other streams of medicine, there is no cure for asthma but as per Ayurveda, asthma can be cured with in three to six months.

Backpain

Lower back pain is the most common pain disorder. It is a chronic condition, characterized by persistent dull or sharp pain; it may also associate with burning, stiffness, numbness or tingling with the pain shooting down buttocks and legs. Pain in lower back restrict the activity and reduces work capacity and restricts day to day activities. Survey indicates that, 70% of the people suffer from lower back pain at some time in their lives.

Diabeties

In today's stressful modern life, incidences of diabetics are increasing. Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder, in which the body is unable to make proper use of glucose, resulting in hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) and glycosuria (sugar in urine). Poorly managed diabetes can lead to long term complications like, Heart Attack, Stroke, Blindness, Nerve Damage, Amputation Of Limbs, Impotence In Men, Pruritus (Itching). According to ayurveda, there are 20 forms of diabetes (prameha): Four are due to vat, six are due to pitta and ten are due to kapha

Eczema

Eczema is a skin disease, characterized by dermatitis, i.e. Inflammation of the upper layer of the skin, known as the epidermis. Eczema is an itchy condition which leads to red rashes when scratched. In modern medical science, eczema is described of different types according to its causes and the symptoms.

Enlarged Prostate

The prostate gland, which is normally about the size and shape of a walnut, surrounds the urethra between the pubic bone and rectum and below the bladder. As the prostate grows larger it may press on the urethra. This narrowing of urethra can cause some men to have trouble with urination. Prostate enlargement or benign prostate hypertrophy (BPH) may be the most common health problem in men, older than 60 years.

Epilepsy

Epilepsy is a disorder related to central nervous system. It is a common chronic neurological disorder characterized by recurrent unprovoked seizures often called as 'fit'. Epilepsy can caused due to imbalance in brain's chemical constitution. It is of two types Grand mal and Petit mal.

Fever

In ayurveda, there is a special cure for the fever. Fever can caused due to malaria, typhoid, viral infection, chickangunya. It is been seen that mentioned fevers have developed resistance to many antibiotics.

High Blood Pressure

Hypertension is a major cause of disability and death all over the world. Hypertension causes heart attacks, strokes, kidney failure and other disorder if it is neglected and remains untreated. In many cases, hypertension does not causes any symptom until it causes complications. It plays a role of silent killer in the body. Blood Pressure is high, when arterial blood pressure is elevated above normal range. The normal blood pressure is systolic 120 and diastolic 80 mmHg

Hyperthyroidism

Hypothyroidism can be classified as, Primary (thyroid failure), Secondary (due to pituitary gland), Tertiary (due to hypothalamic deficiency)

Kidney Disease

Major diseases are or kidney disorders are Anurea or oligourea (less formation of urine), polyurea (frequent passage of urine) occult blood, nephritis, pyelitis, (inflammation of the parenchyma,& pelvis of the kidney), ureamia (renal failure causing retention of abnormal amounts of urea in the blood.) Renal colic due to calculus or such other condition, dysurea (painfull passage of urine).A simple urine test for albumin and a blood test for serum creatinine &albumin will show if kidneys are getting affected. Other symptoms which show kidney problem are high blood pressure, hemoglobin and high blood urea.

Male / Female Infertility

Male infertility includes sperm defects like low sperm count, less viability of sperms and less mobility of sperms. In these cases, ayurvedic treatment is very effective. Ayurvedic treatment helps to cure and healthy formation of sperm is possible.

Mental Diseases

Migraine

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a non infectious inflammatory disease of the skin. It is characterized by well defined erythematous (reddish) plaques with large adherent silvery scales. The main abnormality, in psoriasis is an increased proliferation of the skin layers, due to excessive division of the cell in the basal layer s of the skin. Severe itching may associate with the plaques. Dryness of the skin and silvery scaling are characteristic of this condition. It is very common, among europians, and North Americans.

Ulcerative Colitis

Ulcerative colitis is an inflammatory bowel disease that causes inflammation and ulceration of inner lining of the colon, and rectum. The inflammation usually begins in the rectum, and sigmoid colon and spread upward to the entire colon. Ulcerative colitis rarely affects the small intestine. It occurs at the rate of approximately five cases per 100000 people.
